Project Happy {Year 4}: Days 41-50

The second half of the Easter holidays felt like it whizzed by in a blur and even though we didn’t have many plans for the week the girls and I ended up having a really lovely time together.  The girls had a few playdates, we had some slow days and some busy days and generally just enjoyed hanging out together.  It’s been good for me to be able to switch off pretty much completely from work for the last two weeks as well – something I really felt like I needed to do.  Roll on May half term!

Day 41: Our last full day in Cornwall and we decided to check out somewhere new – the Hidden Valley Discovery Park near Launceston. It was brilliant!

Day 42: A morning spent travelling home, being reunited with The Boy after collecting him from his little holiday at the cattery, and this one being super excited to find out that her sunflowers had grown whilst we’d been away!

Day 43: Easter Sunday = an easter egg hunt!

Day 44: Easter Monday. We visited friends we hadn’t seen for a while in the morning and made chocolate Easter nests together in the afternoon

Day 45: Nerf gun wars took over the house whilst I attempted to catch up with housework and washing without getting shot!

Day 46: I had to work all day in London to makeup for not being there whilst we were away in Cornwall last week and this sunrise from the train was a rather gorgeous way to start the day.

Day 47: This one let me do a little mini photoshoot with her in the field of dandelions at the front of our house and I love every single image I shot of her 🙂

Day 48: Ella requested to bake a Victoria Sponge cake (part of her homework) and did most of it by herself – I really enjoyed spending some quality time with her. She was also super excited for her best friend to be coming for a sleepover tonight!

Day 49: Getting to meet two other bloggers (Lets Talk Mommy and Life As Our Little Family) at Trentham Gardens and our children all playing together in the sunshine

Day 50: Doing a photoshoot with this gorgeous family!
