I can’t believe there are only a few more weeks left of this year and therefore only a small number of #projectlove posts still to come. I’ve absolutely loved capturing all of these moments of love each week, and looking back over them all there really is quite a variety of images.
Some weeks have felt harder – the busy-ness of life has meant that there hasn’t really been much time to capture the love (although I know for sure it’s been there). And other weeks there has been so much love surrounding us that it’s been incredibly tough to choose just one image!
I’m already thinking up a project for 2017 and I think I’ve narrowed it down to a couple of options. Watch this space for an announcement over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, this week’s image was taken whilst we were out for a walk on Sunday morning while the husband was at work. I wanted to go out to take advantage of the last few days of Autumn before the Winter sets in, the leaves completely disappear and greyness takes over. Normally the girls put up a big protest if they are made to go out, but today they were feeling particularly agreeable (ahem, it *might* have had something to do with a little bribe of homemade hot chocolate to warm up cold fingers once we got back!) and chose to go to Cannock Chase to play with the rope swings we discovered on a walk there a few weeks ago.
I love this shot of the three of them walking down a really steep slope that was quite literally thickly carpeted with crunchy leaves. They all held hands to help each other keep their balance and it was such a sweet moment – I did a quiet little happy dance when I saw that I’d managed to capture it.
