Back at the very end of summer (anyone else feel l

Back at the very end of summer (anyone else feel like that was forever ago already?!) I had the absolute joy and privilege of photographing these two gorgeous humans and I have sooooo many images I want to share.

The location was stunning, we were super lucky with the weather and I made a new friend in Nala, their beautiful dog who kind of stole the show.
.
Here's a small selection - which one is your favourite? I love them all so it's very hard to choose, but I think the detail shots will forever be the ones that light me up the most.

Actual magic ✨️ . I was devastated to have mis

Actual magic ✨️
.
I was devastated to have missed the Northern Lights when they put on their display back in May, so when @griffpicsdublin messaged me to say there was a high chance of seeing the aurora last night I was determined to catch it this time around.
.
At 10pm there was the faintest pinky-green glow visible, so I grabbed my camera, took some shots and this was the result!
.
I called the girls to come upstairs and we spent an hour hanging out of my bedroom windows to get the best views, before standing outside in the middle of our empty street in our pjs staring up in wonder at the sky and the stars. The neighbours must have thought we were mad.
.
Core memories made and a bucket list item ticked off (although I do still want to go to Iceland to see them too).

I love exploring a new city at sunrise (and I can never resist a starburst shot!).
.
I stayed in a suburb that was away from the main touristy areas, so I feel I got to see underneath the surface and witness the honest, true way of life here. Commuters heading to work, children making their way to school, cafés setting up for the day, shops taking in deliveries... the same things that happen all over the world on a daily basis. It just felt like an entirely different pace here. I liked it.
