The final ten days of the summer term are done and it is now officially the summer holidays!
It’s felt like an incredibly busy time recently one way or another and (as you’ll see from all the sunrise pictures) I’ve not been getting much sleep. We’re all very much looking forward to a break to our usual routine – lazy mornings, days spent playing in the sunshine and (mustn’t forget the essential!) lots of ice cream 🙂
Day 861: A spectacular sunrise
Day 862: Sports Day!
Day 863: Beautiful, sunny yellow gladioli brightening up my kitchen 🙂
Day 864: A visit to the Library to sign up for The Big Friendly Read. I love this shot of them all holding hands as they went in together (snapped on my phone)
Day 865: Waiting excitedly for Nana and Grandad to arrive, then being surprised when Nanny and Grandad arrived as well! A double grandparent visit always makes a good Sunday.
Day 866: An impromptu water gun fight after a long hot day at school/work
Day 867: The husband and I snuck into town while the girls were at school and treated ourselves to an ice cream from Thorntons. I am currently obsessed with their limited edition chocolate orange flavour – it’s to die for!
Day 868: A fiery start to the day
Day 869: This sunrise (we really are being spoiled this month with beautiful skies!) and my first yoga class for a couple of weeks (lots of school events to go to during the last couple of weeks of term, which always seem to take place on yoga day!) which I very much needed. Sun salutations in the sunshine at my teacher’s brand new dedicated studio definitely = a happy Chloe 🙂
Day 870: The last day of term! School’s out for summer!!
