Hello, all!
Gosh, I bet you all thought I had disappeared off the face of the Earth, it’s been so long since I last posted!
I have been looking on Pinterest (if you would like to check out my page and my mum’s, here is mine: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/ellaridgway9/ and here is my mum’s: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/picturetakermemorymaker/ ) for a while now for a month-long photography project. I am in love with the art and am planning to maybe take Photography as a GSCE! I managed to find a list of prompts that I liked and I’m plan to start it on the 1st of January.
I would like to share with you all my photos in weekly sections so comment below if you would like to see me do that! Just warning you though, I haven’t got a camera yet (hint, hint, parents!) so they will probably be shot on my phone. Hopefully I might have a camera for Xmas….(again, hint, hint!).
In the meantime I thought I would share with you some of my personal favourite pics to show you what sort of things to expect…
I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to comment below on whether I should share my photos from the project! Thanks, guys!
(Please note: all of these photos were taken by me. Thanks!)
Kathryn Booth
I love that sunrise picture, how lovely to have seen that on the way to school. I also really like the way you’ve captured simple everyday things that tell your story. Like the Apple crumble. It’s lit well and the simplicity of the colours are great. Telling your own story I think is really important., and you’ll look bank on these photos on a few years time and be thankful you took them. Good luck with your project!

Aww, thank you, Kathryn! Yeah, I really like the apple crumble too it’s one of my favourite pics too! Thanks again for the comment 🙂

Ella Ridgway
Oh wow, thank you, Gordon! That’s so nice coming from another professional photographer (I don’t think my mum saying they are good counts, does it?) 😉 thanks again 🙂
Kerri-Ann
You definitely should share your photos, perhaps a little round up each week or month. And shouldn’t you send that list to Santa! And don’t forget the Elves. Sounds like a lovely project
Ella Ridgway
I think I will too Kerri-Ann! Everyone’s been so encouraging so keep an eye out for the posts! Thanks again 🙂
Suzanne
Ella, these photographs are stunning and I really hope that your parents take note of the not-so-subtle hints! You’ve obviously got a keen eye for photography and I particularly love that shot of the sunrise on your way to school. Such a beautiful capture 🙂 Have a wonderful Christmas.
