Project Happy {Year 4}: Days 31-40

We crawled towards the end of the Spring term tired, emotional and run down. All of us were so very ready for a break from school, work and the day-to-day routine and being able to spend the first week of the Easter holidays in Bude in Cornwall was exactly what we needed. There will be lots of dedicated posts about what we got up to coming soon, so for now this #projecthappy instalment gives you a little sneak peek into some of the fun we had…

Day 31: Snuggles with The Boy

Day 32: Ella typing up another of her stories for the blog. I love how much she loves writing.

Day 33: A day at home with this one who came out in chicken pox overnight! She had it almost exactly three years ago but only mildly- obviously not enough to build up an immunity to it! She’s fine in herself and it was actually kind of lovely getting to have some one to one time with her.

Day 34: The last day of term, last minute errands and packing for our week-long holiday in Cornwall, all with my little helper in tow.

Day 35: We arrived in Cornwall at 10.30am and headed straight for the beach. Jumping for joy to be back in our happy place! 🙂

Day 36: A day exploring the Lost Gardens of Heligan

Day 37: Playing crazy golf – our annual tradition. This is the face Mimi makes when she gets a hole in one!

Day 38: A wonderful long walk over the cliffs at Northcott Mouth Beach in the morning, a walk along the canal in the afternoon and out to dinner in the evening.  A good day all round 🙂

Day 39: A bracing walk along the Breakwater at Summerleaze Beach and a scramble over the rocks

Day 40: An afternoon playing on the beach and a family selfie. It’s so rare that we get a photo of all six of us and I love this one more than a little bit!
