Project Happy {Year 4}: Days 291-300

A Christmas edition of #projecthappy!  I can’t quite believe we’re at the end of 2017 already.   These last couple of months since we got home from Florida seem to have zoomed by.  As ever, this project makes me slow down and appreciate the moments that would otherwise pass by in a haze, especially at this time of year.

Here are my joyful memories from the last half of December…

Day 291: The husband’s birthday. Cake, panto, plus a date night consisting of dinner out and the new Star Wars film at the cinema 🙂

Day 292: Mimi has been pretty poorly these last few days. Obviously it’s never a happy thing to see your child feeling ill, but the bonus is definitely extra cuddles.

Day 293: Festive nail painting 🙂

Day 294: Managed to get out in the sunshine whilst it was here for a bit of fresh air at one of our favourite places

Day 295: Christmas Eve, so we did something suitably Christmassy and decorated a gingerbread house.

Day 296: Christmas Day. The girls were so grateful for all the gifts they received.

Day 297: Boxing Day, so of course we had to test out their new bikes and scooter.

Day 298: Mini-Christmas with the teenager 🙂

Day 299: A gorgeous, frosty walk over Cannock Chase to blow away the cobwebs.

Day 300: My parents came to visit for the day, so there were more presents, a big lunch, lots of cups of tea and plenty of hugs to go round 🙂
